Working As a Swim Instructor: My Experience

I’ve been working as a swim instructor since I was 14, and it’s a fun experience if you enjoy teaching and especially working with kids. I work for 4 hours a week, but the shifts are relatively flexible! To become a swim instructor, you will need Standard First Aid and National Lifeguarding certification. Some place allow you to work as an instructor or assistant if you only have Bronze Cross. There are many swim schools and centres that hire instructors, and if you enjoy swimming + teaching kids, it’s a great opportunity!
